Role: Operations Manager
Salary: £55K will look at a 3-day working week.
Location: London/Remote working (monthly meetings)
Contract: FTC- initially a 3-month contract (poss temp to perm option.)

We are currently collaborating with a national refugee charity to assist in the recruitment of an operations manager. The ideal candidate should have a strong financial background. The role involves overseeing the organisation's finances, HR, and logistics, with a key reporting responsibility to funders and the Board. The operations manager will be part of the Senior Management Team, contributing to both day-to-day issue resolution and strategic development. In this capacity, the manager will ensure that the decision-making of the Senior Management Team and the Board is well-informed by a strong understanding of the organisation's financial position and liabilities.

Essential Experience/Skills

Significant experience of organisational finance systems
Experience of developing organisational and project budgets across multiple income streams
Experience of financial reporting
Experience of using standard accounting software packages
Advanced excel skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrable experience of overseeing secure and effective organisational IT infrastructure
Entrepreneurialism, flexibility and willingness to ‘muck in’

Desirable Experience/Skills

Experience of working in an HR function
An accounting qualification
Experience of processing payroll
Line Management experience
Experience of working within a charity either as a volunteer or staff member
