The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic, proactive Operations Manager to report to our Head of Operations and play a key role in our growth. Collaborating with Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams, you will manage logistics, inventory, production, and NPD projects. You will drive a high-performance culture within a small supply chain team, achieving key operational goals. With expertise in supply chain dynamics and third-party logistics, you will oversee procurement, inventory, and distribution, optimizing budgets for maximum efficiency. As a supply chain guardian, you will ensure operational consistency and lead process improvements.
The Objectives
Partner with all within our supply chain, to ensure we hit our service targets, and maintain availability Manage supplier relationships and embed KPI management processes Deliver cost saving, efficiency improvement and EPD projects. Identify areas for improvement, demonstrate the value and deliver real change. Optimise the Goodrays Supply chain for scale; finding future partners and platforms to help us on our journey to Growth. Manage 3PL and operations ensuring OTIF levels remain above 95%
Responsibilities
Operational Performance: Ensure on-time order fulfillment (OTIF) and stock availability. Optimize costs in stock, ingredients, packaging, production, and logistics. Maintain ERP system accuracy and implement operational improvements. S+OP: Input into the wider S+OP process, and ensure appropriate production and stock cover Ensure we make good operational decisions based on known data Supply and Production Planning: Deliver robust supply and production plans for materials, finished goods, and packaging. Manage stock levels and performance across warehouses. Oversee production cycles, rework activities, and minimise stock wastage. Logistics Planning: Oversee 3rd Party Logistics partners and their performance. Ensure outbound orders meet customer specifications and manage exports. Lead 3PL tenders and manage warehouse transfers. Customer Supply: Partner with key customers to ensure smooth order management and stock availability. Resolve issues and discrepancies proactively. Project Delivery: Lead supply chain projects focused on NPD and continuous improvement.

Experience: Logistics Management in an SME / FMCG environment, ideally within food and bevertage Production and Materials Management, ideally within an outsourced supply chain. Contract and Performance Management Budget Management Systems Expert - familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Unleashed Export / Import management - preferred Project Management - preferred
Competencies Proactive - identifies issues and manages their resolutions swiftly. Finds areas to improve efficiency and executes them. Strong collaboration skills Proactive communicator High Performance approach - with a strong desire to drive efficiency and performance. IT literate, with experience in Excel and data manipulation.
