What you’ll be doing:
Manage day-to-day operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable station performance.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations at all times.
Collaborate with the
Maintenance/Engineering
Manager on projects, maintenance, and plant improvements.
Monitor plant efficiency daily and direct operations staff for optimal performance.
Prepare and manage the annual Operations department budget.
What we want from you:
HNC or higher in a relevant engineering discipline.
IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is advantageous.
Experience in power generation sectors like Biomass, CHP, Energy from Waste, Coal, or CCGT.
Knowledge of environmental permits and health and safety regulations.
Extensive experience with Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) procedures.
