MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Herbtender is on a fast growth trajectory, fuelled by consumer interest in functional mushrooms, adaptogens, and natural solutions to stress. We exist to help others discover the incredible benefits of adaptogens in building our body’s natural resilience to stress, so we can live healthier and happier lives.

⭐ As our Operations Manager, you will be an essential member of the team to deliver our growth. You will have an excellent grasp of efficient operations and how to select, motivate and manage critical partners. You will have a strong interest in systems, processes and project management, and strong people skills.

Now in our third year since launch, with our recent nationwide listing in Holland & Barrett, we are expanding our team to drive forward our mission to be the leaders in A daptogenic Wellness . You will be part of an exciting, growing business that puts authenticity and integrity at the heart of what we do.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Overall accountability for the efficient management and development of The Herbtender supply chain and operations, ensuring cost effective progressive solutions delivering high quality experiences to customers and suppliers.
Selection and management of manufacturing partners, packaging suppliers, ingredient suppliers to agreed standards and costs
Operations lead on new product development projects from conception to commercialisation
Accountability for 3PL and D2C warehousing and logistics including SLA management
Accountability for stock management and purchasing through the newly implemented inventory management system Unleashed.
Maintain the day to day relationships with all suppliers
Identify ways to streamline processes and procedures including sourcing new suppliers and software
Oversee quality and technical and trade customer satisfaction tracking

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

5 years of proven experience working within supply chain management in FMCG
Excellent communication and data management skills
Experience in managing 3PL relationships
Project management experience
Start-up experience advantageous
Commercially aware
Have a positive, problem-solving attitude
A passion for wellness and natural ways to manage health
