  • Driving health, safety and environmental performance across every site

  • Working with the commercial team on programme, procurement and cost control

  • Maintaining quality assurance and regulatory compliance

  • Building and protecting relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and our supply chain

  • Contributing to pre-construction and tender input when necessary

Essential

  • Substantial experience in construction operations or senior site management, typically ten years or more

  • A track record of delivering projects safely, on time, to budget and to specification

  • Experience across a range of construction methods and project types

  • Strong working knowledge of CDM, health and safety legislation and quality assurance

  • A confident communicator, able to work effectively with site teams, designers and commercial colleagues

  • A practical, hands-on approach to resolving problems on site

  • SMSTS and CSCS

  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • HNC, HND or degree in construction management, civil engineering or a related discipline

  • Professional membership, for example MCIOB

  • Experience in relevant sectors, for example affordable housing, education or commercial

  • Commercial awareness gained through budget or profit and loss responsibility

  • First Aid certification

WHAT WE OFFER

Our people tend to stay with us, and we work hard to keep it that way. You will join a business with the scale to offer real variety of work and the structure to offer real progression.
