Operations Manager, Reprographics and Print on Demand - City of London

Impressively expanding Print on Demand Business in the City of London, seek an experienced & motivated Production / Operations Manager with comprehensive small & large format digital print & reprographics experience and strong commercial acumen, to lead a dynamic team in managing/developing a large array of Blue Chip and Corporate Client requirements as they continue to expand their reach & service offering.

Responsible for all day to day operational demands of the Business, you will lead a dynamic & committed team of Production staff, with a remit to maximise current opportunities within their Central London Client network, so you must have proven production / operational experience in a fast-paced, high quality, reprographics and small & large format digital/litho print environment, excellent interpersonal & leadership skills, a strong commercial & numerical acumen.

You will be a naturally enthusiastic, confident, communicative personality, demonstrating an obvious ability to interact very effectively with Staff & Clients in order to manage a significant array of customer projects & requirements, positioning the Business to further deliver an outstanding service and maximising their ability to secure the associated Design, Reprographics and Print Sales opportunities.

Key challenges;

* Bringing the diversity of professional experience to drive this Print on Demand business forward through the next exciting phases of it’s evolution…which requires commercial intelligence, combined with the production / operational experience to manage all day to day aspects and running of the Business

* The maturity & professional ‘empathy’ to manage the implementation of this role, engaging, mentoring & developing existing key staff

* Sharing a ‘cultural connection’ with the Managing Director, demonstrating a shared energy, dynamism, hunger & skillset to continue to grow the Business, developing their offering & gaining wider market opportunities in the City of London & the surrounding area.

Experience Required;

* Practical experience across the diversity of Print, including Litho, Small & Large format digital reprographics & Branded merchandise

* Proven experience of leading, managing & mentoring a multifaceted Production team

* Strong commercial & operational acumen, with a proven ability to ‘manage the numbers’ including margin performance, Supplier & outsource negotiation & all associated Operational business costs

* Vibrant personality, accustomed to engaging with Clients and going the extra mile to deliver outstanding service

* Disciplined Business, personnel & operational management skills

* Possessing the skills & preparedness to ‘muck in’ as part of a focussed team that’s dedicated to going beyond Customers expectations.
