Lead a high-profile technical repair operation supporting one of the world's biggest technology brands.
We're recruiting on behalf of a global logistics leader for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of a fast-paced technical repair operation based in Coventry.
Supporting a globally recognised consumer technology customer, you'll lead the repair and refurbishment of premium consumer devices, including smartphones, tablets and wearable technology. Every product is customer-critical, with a 24-hour turnaround target, making this a highly visible leadership role.
With around 300 employees on site and responsibility for five direct-report managers, you'll drive operational performance, develop your leadership team and deliver continuous improvements across productivity, quality and customer service.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll oversee the Technical Repair operation, ensuring service levels, productivity and quality targets are achieved while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and customer representatives to optimise workflows, introduce best practice and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading a busy technical repair operation delivering against 24-hour SLAs. Managing and developing five direct-report operational leaders. Driving productivity, quality, safety and customer performance. Championing Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Identifying process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Working with senior leadership to deliver operational strategy. Analysing operational performance and implementing corrective actions. Building a high-performance culture focused on accountability and engagement.About You
