Job Title: Operations Planner & Warehouse Operative (FLT)

Location: Aberdeen

Reports to: Depot Manager

We are seeking an Operations Planner & Warehouse Operative to support the safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of freight in and out of the Aberdeen depot. The role involves planning transport operations, coordinating drivers and vehicles, and carrying out warehouse duties including forklift operation.

• Plan and coordinate the use of drivers, vehicles, and service providers to ensure efficient transport operations.
• Handle inbound customer enquiries quickly and professionally, recording information accurately.
• Maintain a high level of customer service by responding promptly to client needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve service and communicate these to management.
• Assist with loading/unloading vehicles, ensuring cargo is labelled, secured, and stored correctly.
• Operate forklifts safely, carrying out pre-use checks and reporting any issues.
• Keep accurate records of goods received and dispatched.
• Support compliance with Health & Safety, security, and company procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse and/or transport-related environment.
• At least 2 years’ experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Valid Forklift Licence.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, site security, and data protection.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
