Operations Support Agent

Barker Ross are currently recruiting for an Operations Support Agent to join a busy operation in Crayford.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a long-term role, with the potential to move into permanent employment for the right person.

The role:

£14.02 per hour
Monday to Friday
40 hours per week
AM and PM shifts available
Start date: ASAP

Potential for permanent employmentWhat you'll be doing:

You'll be supporting the day-to-day operation and helping to keep everything running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

Dealing with customer enquiries
Investigating shipments
Managing failed deliveries and collections
Data entry and updating internal systems
Communicating with drivers, customers and other stations
Following processes and ensuring information is accurate
Working to deadlines in a busy environmentWe're looking for someone who:

Is confident using computers and can learn new systems quickly
Has good attention to detail
Is comfortable working with data and emails
Can work independently and use their own initiative
Is confident communicating with different people
Works well as part of a team
Is reliable, professional and willing to learn
Can stay organised and work well under pressurePrevious experience in operations, administration, customer service, logistics, transport or a similar role would be beneficial.
