Monday - Friday - 12noon untill 9pm

Reporting to the senior leadership team, this rolenis responsible for ensuring the effective day-to-day management of the operations function. This is a hands-on role, requiring leadership and coordination of a team to ensure all shipments are accurately processed and prepared for export, in line with company procedures and strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Oversee the efficient functioning of the operations department, including workforce planning, supplier coordination, and achievement of operational targets.

Ensure all shipments are processed according to internal procedures and industry standards.
•
Lead, motivate, and support the operations team, ensuring staff have the necessary skills and training to perform their duties effectively.
•
Collaborate with senior leadership to implement and drive strategic operational improvements.
•
Respond proactively to operational challenges, identifying issues and delivering timely solutions..
•
Act as a key liaison with both domestic and international partners.

Skills and Experience:
•
Strong knowledge of the courier/logistics industry, including import and export processes.
•
Familiarity with customs regulations and ability to prepare import/export declarations.
•
Certification in handling Dangerous Goods (IATA).
