We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Operations Training Manager to lead and develop our team, ensuring the highest standards of safety, customer service, and operational excellence. This role is responsible for training and certifying staff in all aspects of the park’s attractions, including zip lines, high ropes courses, freefall jumps, rock climbing walls, and other adventure activities.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a strong background in at height adventure park operations, safety protocols, and staff training. You will play a key role in creating an engaging, fun, and safe environment for both employees and guests.
Training & Development:
Develop and implement a comprehensive training program for all adrenaline park activities.
Train staff in safety procedures, equipment usage, emergency response, and customer service.
Conduct regular refresher training to ensure staff competency and compliance with industry standards.
Certify staff in accordance with relevant safety and operational guidelines
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all training aligns with safety regulations and industry best practices.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and training processes to maintain the highest safety standards.
Lead emergency response drills and ensure all staff are prepared for various scenarios.
Maintain accurate training records and certifications for all employees.
Operational Leadership:
Support daily park operations by ensuring trained staff are positioned appropriately.
Assist in hiring and onboarding new employees, ensuring they receive proper training before active duty.
Work closely with management to identify areas for improvement in staff performance and guest experience.
Address guest concerns related to safety and staff training with professionalism and expertise.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous experience in adventure parks, outdoor recreation, theme parks, or similar high-adrenaline environments.
Strong background in safety training, ropes course facilitation, or adventure sports instruction.
Certified or willing to obtain certifications in relevant safety standards.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with a passion for developing others.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including climbing, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends, holidays, and peak operational hours.
