Operator –6 Month FTC
Location: Tyneside
Salary: £33,054 basic salary
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm

Outsource UK is seeking an Operator to join the Operations team at our client’s fuel storage terminal in Tyneside. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the efficient and safe movement of fuel products while working within a high-compliance environment.

Role Purpose The Operator will support day-to-day terminal operations, ensuring road tankers are processed safely and efficiently while maintaining full compliance with operational, environmental, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities Operations:

Carry out product storage and handling tasks safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate operational records
Contribute to the creation and review of standard operating procedures
Perform trained roles within the Operations team
Maintain high housekeeping standards across the terminal
Liaise with contractors and relevant external bodies as required
Communicate effectively with colleagues to support smooth terminal operations

Requirements:

Experience working in environments such as Manufacturing/Fuel/Chemical
Exposure to COMAH site environments (Upper or Lower Tier) is desirable but not a requirement
Safety qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH) are desirable but not a requirement
