We’re looking for a motivated and organised Operator Recruiter to join a well-established company at the forefront of the UK’s plant hire industry. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in sourcing, screening, and onboarding skilled operators—ensuring projects across the country run smoothly and efficiently. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building strong working relationships, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 6:00pm

• 1 in 4 Saturdays – 7:30am to 12:00pm

The Candidate:

• Previous resourcing experience within the transport or plant hire industry

• Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of individuals

• Organised and proactive with a keen eye for detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships

• Solution-focused mindset with the ability to think ahead and solve problems quickly

Responsibilities:

• Source and supply self-drive plant operators to meet daily requirements

• Register and onboard new operators, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and complete

• Conduct background checks, verify references, and check all operator cards and qualifications

• Support day-to-day operational planning by ensuring all roles are covered

• Coordinate operator availability and help plan resources for the following day

• Respond to operator and client queries promptly and professionally

• Build strong relationships with new and existing operators, maintaining regular contact
