Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Optical Assistant to join our team at our South Woodham Ferrers location. This full-time, on-site position entails a multifaceted role where you will engage directly with clients to ensure a seamless experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers in selecting frames and lenses, coordinating appointment schedules, managing product inventory, and providing administrative support to optometrists and staff.

Candidate Profile
Preferred experience in optometry or related customer service roles.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
Keen eye for detail with superior organizational skills.
Proficient in managing multiple tasks with effective prioritization.
Fundamental understanding of eyewear products, including various lens options and frame designs.
Acquaintance with standard optical instruments and maintenance tools.
Competent with computerized systems for efficient record management and appointment scheduling.
A proactive approach to learning with a commitment to staying informed about industry developments.
