About the Opportunity

We’re currently recruiting for an Optometrist to join an established multi-site optical group in Burton-on-Trent.

This is an excellent opportunity for an OD looking for a weekend position, working within a busy 7-testing-room store alongside an experienced and supportive clinical team.

You’ll benefit from having other Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians working within the wider team, so you won’t be the only clinician on-site.

The Role

As an Optometrist, you’ll provide high-quality eye examinations and clinical care while working as part of an established, patient-focused team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering comprehensive eye examinations


• Identifying and managing ocular conditions


• Providing appropriate clinical advice and recommendations


• Dispensing and recommending appropriate optical solutions where required


• Building strong relationships with patients


• Working collaboratively with Dispensing Opticians and the wider store team


• Maintaining high clinical and professional standards


• Supporting the team in delivering an excellent patient experience

About You

We’re looking for a GOC-registered Optometrist who enjoys providing high-quality patient care and working as part of a wider clinical team.

You’ll ideally have:

• GOC registration as an Optometrist


• Strong clinical and communication skills


• A patient-focused approach


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team


• A genuine passion for delivering excellent eye care

This role would suit an Optometrist looking for regular weekend work, whether alongside another position or as a dedicated weekend opportunity.
