Optometrist | Independent Practice | Alton

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a full-time Optometrist to join an established independent optical practice in Alton, Hampshire.

The Role

• Full-time, permanent position


• 38.875 hours per week


• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, contact lens appointments and other specialist appointments such as dry eye, where appropriately qualified


• Provide patients with professional advice on visual health, lifestyle factors and preventative care


• Work closely with Dispensing Opticians and support staff to ensure a smooth patient journey


• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in line with GOC and professional standards


• Utilise specialist diagnostic equipment including OCT, fundus camera, tonometry and visual fields


• Contribute to clinical governance and quality assurance processes


• Support the continued growth of the practice through excellent patient care and communication


• Maintain and develop clinical knowledge through CPD and ongoing professional development
