Picker Packer – Construction Materials

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00am–8:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks

We are currently recruiting for a Picker Packer to join a busy team working with construction materials in Sittingbourne.

The Role

As a Picker Packer, you will be responsible for accurately picking and packing construction materials. Your duties will include:

Using an order sheet to identify the items required
Going into the warehouse to pick all items listed on the order sheet
Bringing the picked items back to your workstation
Checking and packing the order together ready for dispatch
Using basic IT systems as part of the role
Keeping your workstation and warehouse areas clean and organised
Following all health and safety procedures
Heavy lifting will be involved throughout the shift, so you must be comfortable with physically demanding work

About You

The successful candidate will need:

Good IT skills
Good attention to detail and accuracy
The ability to read and follow an order sheet
A reliable and hardworking attitude
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
To be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting throughout the shift
Previous warehouse, picking or packing experience would be an advantage
