Job Description - Order Processing / Shipping Administrator
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic Order Processing/Shipping Administrator. The role is responsible for preparing all import, export and domestic shipping documentation ensuring that all customers’ orders are delivered on time and in full, delivering excellent service levels to both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and previous experience working within a similar role within the engineering or manufacturing sector with exposure to dealing with international shipping. You may have worked in the following capacities: Purchasing Assistant, Sales Coordinator, Sales Administrator, Sales Order Administrator, Shipping / Logistics Administrator.

Candidate Requirements Candidates must live within commuting distance of ABI’s main office in Dodworth, Barnsley and be able to work on site between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am and 12:00noon Friday. They must also have the majority of the following skills.
Essential Skills ·
You have shipping and export experience (UK and International), including temporary imports (IPR) ·
You have order processing experience using MRP systems ·
You are an organised person and you are happy to work under pressure if required. ·
You have good computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) ·
You have good communication skills both verbal and written ·
You are open and ready to learn from others, and you are aware that they may want to learn from you
Desirable Skills ·
You have experience logging and organising payments on SAGE ·
You are familiar with setting up payment requests using PayPal ·
You are happy to speak to customers and suppliers in person and over the phone ·
You have experience dealing with general office duties such as making travel arrangements for management or customers, booking meals for visitors attending training, etc.
Bonus Skills ·
You speak a foreign language including but not limited to Spanish, German, Chinese or French.
