Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse / ODP – Hip & Knee Surgery

Location: Private hospital - Bath
Contract: Temporary / Agency Shifts

RTC Resources is recruiting experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Nurses and ODPs to support hip and knee surgery lists at a private hospital in Bath.

We are looking for confident scrub practitioners with recent experience in major lower-limb orthopaedics, particularly total hip and knee replacements.

The role

* Prepare the theatre, instruments and equipment for orthopaedic procedures.

* Provide skilled scrub support during hip and knee replacement surgery.

* Anticipate surgical requirements and handle instruments and implants safely.

* Maintain the sterile field and complete surgical counts and documentation.

* Work closely with the theatre team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements

* Current NMC registration as a nurse or HCPC registration as an ODP.

* Recent scrub experience in hip and knee replacement surgery.

* Good knowledge of orthopaedic instruments and implant systems.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Right to work in the UK and satisfactory recruitment compliance checks.
