They are currently seeking Outreach Support Mentors to join their growing team, offering one-to-one and small group support to students who are not currently accessing mainstream education. Please note: Due to the nature of this role, all applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle. Travel is an essential part of the position.

About the Role
The Outreach Support Mentor will work directly with children and young people who face a range of challenges, including additional needs such as Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, anxiety, or those who have experienced trauma.

Mentors may work in the student’s home, local libraries, community settings or outdoor environments, depending on the needs and preferences of each learner. No two days are the same - but every day offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

  • Creating safe, welcoming spaces that promote trust, routine and encouragement

  • Supporting young people to build emotional resilience and independence

  • Liaising with parents, carers, schools and professionals to ensure holistic support

  • Celebrating progress and development, no matter how small

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • A full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle (essential)

  • Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with additional or complex needs

  • A trauma-informed, person-centred approach to engagement

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine belief in the potential of every learner

  • A flexible and proactive attitude with the ability to work independently

  • Backgrounds in youth work, education, mentoring, support work or mental health are highly desirable

What This Role Offers:

  • Flexible working patterns to suit your lifestyle

  • Ongoing training and mentorship from a supportive and experienced team

  • An opportunity to be part of a growing initiative that prioritises kindness, consistency and connection

  • Pay reflective of experience and impact

  • Mileage and travel expenses covered

This is more than just a job - it’s a chance to be part of something extraordinary. For the right person, this role offers the opportunity to make a lasting difference in a young person’s life, while growing as a professional and human being.

If you are motivated by meaningful work and believe in the power of positive relationships, we would love to hear from you.
