Outsourcing Senior

TPF Recruitment is recruiting for an Outsourcing Senior to join a highly reputable, leading firm of chartered accountants based in Portsmouth, Hampshire. Our client has been experiencing very positive organic growth, having generated an excellent reputation and standing across Hampshire and the South. Through increasing referrals and new client attraction, they're looking to hire an Outsourcing Senior at a key time in the firm's growth and development. Clients are wide-ranging across varied industry sectors OMBs, larger corporates, smaller sole traders, partnerships, and other clients. There is a real breadth and quality to the client range. Career progression prospects are on offer, with a clear path to carve here, as you develop within this firm and role.

Your daily duties will include:

• Work closely with clients to prepare their records both on-site and in the office, preparing and reviewing VAT returns and monthly and annual management accounts.
  
• Provide support to your clients from a bookkeeping perspective, you will also be communicating with HMRC and really gaining a full insight into the world of accountancy and systems.
  

You will be:

• ACA/ACCA/CA newly qualified (or equivalent), part qualified or someone qualified by experience will be considered
  
• Prior experience working within outsourcing or business services in a UK accountancy firm
  
• Confident with cloud-based accounting platforms (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
  
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, VAT, and management reporting
  
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  
• Able to work to deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism
