• Team Leadership - Supervise the outsourcing team, ensuring a fair workload and high-quality output.
• Client Accounts - Prepare management accounts for larger, more complex businesses.
• Training & Support - Guide and train junior staff in bookkeeping and accounts preparation.
• VAT & Compliance - Resolve bookkeeping and VAT queries with confidence.
• Collaboration - Work closely with the accounts team to ensure a smooth year-end process.

• Accountancy practice experience - You know your way around multiple clients.
• Strong software skills - Ideally Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
• Great communicator - You'll be working with clients and mentoring staff.
• Self-sufficient - You know how to manage your time and workload.
• VAT knowledge - Particularly for small businesses.
• Attention to detail - Because accuracy is key.
