An Outstanding sixth-form college in Birmingham requires a creative and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join their department. This is a full-time, permanent Food Teacher position teaching Key Stage 5.

Food Teacher Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum.


• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.


• Assess student progress regularly and provide effective feedback.


• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.


• Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Food Technology department.

Food Teacher Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).


• A degree in Food Technology, Home Economics, or a closely related subject.


• Proven experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary or post-16 level.


• Strong classroom management skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
