Overhead Crane Operator

DCT Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Overhead Crane Operator for a long-term project based in Deeside. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join a well-established team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently to move heavy materials and equipment within the site

Work closely with site supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth operations

Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues or faults

Follow health and safety protocols at all times, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment

Assist with general site duties when required

Requirements:

Proven experience operating overhead cranes in a construction or industrial setting

Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for overhead crane operation

Strong understanding of site health and safety practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the full duration of the project

Contract Details:

£23 per hour CIS

Full-time hours: 07:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday

Contract length: 12 to 18 months
