Working within the Project Engineering team, you will provide technical engineering support across 132kV, 275kV and 400kV overhead line projects, covering the full project lifecycle. Key responsibilities: · Review contractor and consultant OHL designs, ensuring compliance with specifications and technical standards. · Coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines and manage engineering risks and opportunities. · Act as the key point of contact for Overhead Line Engineering across project, commercial, programme and site meetings. · Support engineering governance, quality and CDM requirements throughout project delivery. · Work closely with Engineering and Project Managers to identify and mitigate technical and quality risks. We are looking for: · Strong experience in overhead line development, design or specification, ideally at 132kV and above. · Experience within a contractor, consultancy or client-side transmission environment. · Technical degree or HND with relevant engineering experience. · Familiarity with PLS-CADD would be advantageous but is not essential. · Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
