Oxbridge Graduate - Aspiring Secondary Teacher | Tower Hamlets | £110-£120 per day (Term Time Only)

Are you an Oxbridge graduate with a strong academic background and a genuine ambition to pursue a career in teaching?

A high-performing, academically driven secondary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint exceptional Oxbridge graduates for full-time roles starting in September 2025. This is a term-time only opportunity, ideal for graduates looking to gain meaningful school-based experience before committing to formal teacher training.

You'll join a subject-specialist department (English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, etc.), supporting classroom learning, running interventions, and helping to raise attainment. Graduates are fully integrated into school life and receive ongoing support, CPD, and mentorship, with a clear route into Schools Direct, PGCE, or salaried training.

• Support subject teachers across KS3-KS4, with potential KS5 exposure

• Assist with planning, small group work, and academic interventions

• Take on responsibility within your department and contribute to a high-achieving school culture

• Gain experience that builds toward teacher training in the following academic year

• £110-£120 per day (depending on experience)

• Term-time only, full-time role (Monday to Friday)

• Start Date: September 2025

• Location: Tower Hamlets (excellent transport links)

• 2:1 or First-Class degree from Oxford or Cambridge

• Strong A-Level results (AAA or equivalent)

• Excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching

• Confident, articulate, and able to engage pupils effectively

• Long-term ambition to become a qualified teacher
