About the Role:
Join a global leader in microbiology solutions, supporting the diagnosis of infectious diseases and detection of bacterial contamination. This role is essential in manufacturing products that help ensure patients receive the most appropriate treatment plans across medical, pharmaceutical, and veterinary markets.
You will work in a controlled clean area and packing room, contributing to the production of highly regulated medical devices. Compliance with international standards and regulatory bodies is critical to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispensing Line: Feed plates into machines, check plates produced, and load plates onto trays for drying.
Packing Line: Pack dried plates in foil pouches and box pouched plates into sales units.
Accessory Products: Assemble, bag, and/or pack accessory products as required.
Other Duties:
Reconcile batch numbers
Manufacture ID seals
Perform general cleaning in controlled clean areas and packing rooms

Team Overview:

The East Grinstead site is the sole manufacturer of a specialised product range used globally for antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST). These products help determine which antibiotics bacteria such as E. coli, MRSA, or tuberculosis are sensitive or resistant to.
The Production Department consists of the Production Laboratory and Process Department, responsible for high-volume batch manufacturing. You will report to the Process Department Team Lead and work within a team of 14 across two shifts, including Senior Process Operators, Dryer Operators, and Process Workers.

This position involves lifting and carrying moderate weights as part of daily tasks
