Packer

Hours: 30 hours per week, 9am-3pm (6 hours per day), Monday to Friday

Objective of the Role:

The goal is to pack the consumable product to the highest standards, ensuring correct weights and presenting it in the most appealing way.

Key Duties:

• Collect the product from the designated fridges for packing.
• Check the quality of the product, ensuring each tin looks its best.
• Ensure each tin is filled to the required weight.
• Seek advice on any queries regarding size, color, etc.
• Ensure the vacuum machine is functioning correctly.
• Vacuum seal each tin once packed.
• Document packed tins for full traceability, including taking a photo of each tin.
• Complete the batch sheet for each tin packed.
• Clean the packing room in preparation for the next day's packing.
• Daily Hygiene & Maintenance.
• Maintain the different colour ranges of the product in the fridges.
• Taste each tin of the product for quality control.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Diligence and attention to detail.
• Good attendance and timekeeping.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Good stamina for standing and sitting.
• Flexibility to stay longer if required.
• Willingness to work compulsory overtime in November and December.
