Job Title: Packing Assistant

Location: Whitstable, Kent

Salary: £23,809.50

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

Role Summary:

As a Packing Assistant, will be responsible for filling, labelling and packaging a variety products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires precision, dexterity and the ability to work well within a team.

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:

• Operate filling equipment to dispense products into jars, bottles and tubes.
• Apply labels and batch codes to products with accuracy and consistency.
• Pack finished products into cartons or cases for distribution.
• Conduct basic quality checks to ensure product standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment in line with hygiene protocols.
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining high-quality output.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with general production and warehouse duties as required.

Experience and skills required for this position:

• Previous experience in packing.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Good team player with effective communication skills.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and perform manual handling tasks.
• Willingness to learn and follow established processes and procedures.
• Basic understanding of health, safety and hygiene requirements.
