About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a busy and well-established print company for a Packer to join their team in the Gamlingay / Sandy area. This is an ad hoc role with immediate starts available, ideal for someone who is flexible and looking for hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.
This position may also suit candidates with experience as a warehouse operative, production operative, picker packer, factory worker, or anyone with transferable skills from logistics, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
What You’ll Do
Pack printed materials carefully and accurately
Check items for quality before packing
Label and prepare orders for dispatch
Keep your work area clean and organised
Work as part of a team to meet daily targets
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
What We’re Looking For
Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
Able to start work at 6am
Must drive or have a reliable way to travel to site
Good attention to detail
Comfortable working on your feet and handling manual tasks
Previous experience in packing, warehouse, or production roles is helpful but not essential
Who Might Suit This Role
This role is a great fit for someone with experience in packing, warehouse work, or production, but it could also suit those from retail, hospitality, or cleaning roles who are used to being active and working to deadlines. If you have worked as a picker, packer, warehouse assistant, or in a factory setting, your skills will transfer well here.
