We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Packing Operatives to join our busy Gift & Hamper Department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work, have excellent attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a team. You will play an important role in ensuring our gift boxes and hampers are packed to a high standard, beautifully presented and ready for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

Packing gift boxes and hampers to a high standard.
Assembling products and preparing orders for dispatch.
Checking finished products to ensure quality and presentation standards are met.
Driving when required to support operational needs.
Assisting other departments during busy periods.
Maintaining a clean, tidy, organised and safe working environment.
Using manual pump trucks safely and correctly.
Carrying out regular manual handling, including lifting, carrying and stacking.
Standing and walking throughout your shift.

What We're Looking For

A full UK driving licence is desirable.
Previous experience in warehouse, packing or production work is beneficial.
Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills.
Basic computer skills and numeracy.
Flexibility and a willingness to support other departments when needed.
A strong commitment to health and safety and good housekeeping.
The ability to maintain accuracy while meeting productivity targets.

Pay, Hours & Attendance Bonus

Standard pay: £12.71 per hour, or the prevailing statutory rate where applicable.
Overtime pay: £13.71 per hour for hours worked over 42.5 hours per week, subject to applicable pay requirements.
Working hours: Up to 42.5 hours per week.
Attendance bonus: An additional bonus is available for good attendance, rewarding reliability and commitment.Attendance bonus eligibility and payment terms will be confirmed during recruitment.

Wear clean, practical clothing, a high-visibility vest and mandatory safety footwear.
Maintain high standards of personal hygiene.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and conduct rules.
Keep mobile phones in designated lockers during working hours. Phones may only be used during authorised breaks.
Complete the site induction and quiz before arriving on site.
