A well-established and growing business based in Sheerness, is looking to recruit 2 Packing Operatives on a temp-to-perm basis to join their friendly and supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy working in a busy factory environment, take pride in their work, and can use their own initiative whilst also contributing as part of a close-knit team.

As a small, family-feel organisation, you'll work closely with colleagues across various departments and play a key role in ensuring customer orders are packed and dispatched accurately and on time.

What You'll Be Doing

Picking products using customer work orders
Wrapping and shrink-wrapping goods ready for dispatch
Ensuring all relevant paperwork is included with the correct products
Packing goods onto pallets safely and securely
Completing orders on the internal system
Printing dispatch paperwork and delivery labels
Learning company products and packaging requirements
Carrying out quality checks (full training provided)
Prioritising workload according to collection and dispatch deadlines

What We're Looking For

Available to start immediately
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Able to work on your own initiative
Comfortable working as part of a small team
Good attention to detail
Basic computer skills
Previous warehouse, packing, manufacturing or production experience is beneficial but not essential
