Packing Storesperson

Are you a hands-on, reliable team player with a keen eye for detail and a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading company in the fresh produce sector who are looking for a dedicated Packaging Storesperson to join their fast-paced site.

This is a varied and dynamic role combining packaging responsibilities, yard duties, and general site support. You'll be working in a supportive environment where health and safety, teamwork, and a can-do attitude are central to daily operations.

What you will be doing:

• Operate and maintain the box making machine and manage packaging stock levels

• Keep packaging and yard areas clean, organised, and audit-ready

• Label packaging accurately and count customer trays

• Operate machinery such as balers, compactors, and forklifts (training provided if needed)

• Load/unload lorries and manage waste disposal

• Support general site upkeep, including basic maintenance and safe handling of chemicals

• Always work safely and follow company health & safety standards

About you:

• A valid forklift or MHE licence - or a willingness to train (including ride-on, reach truck, scissor lift, etc.)

• Experience working with machinery (box makers, balers, compactors)

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality

• A flexible, positive approach with the ability to work on your own initiative

• A team player with good communication skills

• A proactive attitude toward safety and continuous improvement
