Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Our client is a leading trade-only sign manufacturer, producing high-quality signage for customers across the UK. They are looking for a reliable and motivated Paint Prep Operative to join their production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail who takes pride in preparing components to a high standard before painting and finishing.

About the Role

As a Paint Prep Operative, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sign components for the paint process, ensuring they meet our quality standards.

Your duties will include:

Preparing aluminium and other materials for painting
Cleaning, sanding and masking components
Filling and smoothing surfaces where required
Inspecting items for imperfections before painting
Assisting with the movement and handling of materials
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
Supporting the paint shop and production team as requiredAbout You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in paint preparation, manufacturing or a similar production environment (preferred but not essential)
Excellent attention to detail
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good organisational skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
