Job Title: Paint Sprayer

Location: Ballymena, County Antrim

Duration: Ongoing Contract

Pay Rates: £15.93-£21.16 (PAYE or UMB)

We are currently recruiting for a number of Paint Sprayers for work available in Ballymena.

Hours of Work:

3-week rotating shift pattern (34.5 hours per week):

Week 1: Monday - Wednesday | 06:00 - 18:00

Week 2: Monday - Wednesday | 18:00 - 06:00

Week 3: Thursday - Saturday | 06:00 - 18:00

The Role:

Marking out and spray painting basecoat and direct gloss colours.

Carrying out touch-ups and minor paint repairs prior to vehicle sign-off and delivery.

Assisting with paint preparation, including marking up vehicles before painting.

Safe operation of plant, equipment, and hand tools used in paint preparation and spraying.

Following company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Undertaking training or retraining as required.

Carrying out any other duties necessary to support the role.

Requirements:

Time-served Paint Sprayer or minimum of 4 years' relevant experience.

Experience in spray painting with strong preparation knowledge.

Experience in the commercial vehicle or automotive industry.

Knowledge of clear-over-base and 2-pack paint systems.

Ability to carry out minor dent repairs and spot paint repairs.

Experience using templates and marking out vehicles.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Willingness to undertake training when required.

Awareness of general Health & Safety requirements.

Flexible approach to work, including overtime and shift changes.
