Based in Loughborough, our manufacturing facility handles everything in-house — from raw material processing to welding, fabrication, painting, and full assembly of bespoke acoustic units. Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, motivate, and manage the Paint Prep team, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output.
* Set and monitor weekly objectives, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to Wiltech’s high standards.
* Oversee and participate in all aspects of paint preparation, including cleaning, sealing, priming, masking, colour matching, and quality inspection.
* Ensure team members adhere to ISO9001 policies and safety standards.
* Provide expert advice on material and tooling requirements, ensuring the team is fully equipped for each task.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to improve team productivity.
* Maintain accurate records, including timesheets, holiday requests, and attendance tracking.
* Communicate with the Production Team and other Team Leaders to resolve any issues and maintain an efficient production flow.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in paint preparation, spraying, or a related field.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to problem-solve and adapt to production demands.
* Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures.
* Hours - Days 6am till 2pm / Afternoons 2pm till 10pm (15% shift allowance).
