Pay: £21.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

About the Role

Personnel Link is recruiting on behalf of a well-established paint and bodyshop in Guildford for an experienced Painter / Prepper. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, professional workshop where quality workmanship is valued and there is a consistent flow of work.

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in vehicle preparation and paint spraying who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes.

This role may also suit candidates who have worked as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer, Automotive Painter, Paint Technician, Vehicle Prepper, Bodyshop Painter, SMART Repair Technician, Vehicle Refinisher or Car Paint Technician.

What You'll Do

• 
  

  Prepare vehicles and panels ready for painting

  
  


• 
  

  Carry out filling, sanding, masking and priming to a high standard

  
  


• 
  

  Mix and apply paint using the correct techniques

  
  


• 
  

  Produce high-quality paint finishes in line with manufacturer standards

  
  


• 
  

  Carry out colour matching and blending where required

  
  


• 
  

  Inspect completed work to ensure excellent quality

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with the bodyshop team to meet deadlines

  
  

What We're Looking For

• 
  

  A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Painter, Prepper or Vehicle Paint Sprayer

  
  


• 
  

  Previous experience within an automotive paint and bodyshop environment

  
  


• 
  

  Strong preparation and paint application skills

  
  


• 
  

  Good knowledge of paint systems and finishing techniques

  
  


• 
  

  High attention to detail with a focus on quality

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop

  
  


• 
  

  A positive attitude and good team working skills
