Major Recruitment are currently looking for a Painter And Decorator in Bristol

Day to Day Tasks:
To carry out internal and external painting and decorating requirements

This role will include a variety of tasks including the following:
Minor repairs to surfaces and structures prior to decorating/painting.
Carry out planned programme of painting and redecoration in accordance with the Estates work plan in void properties
To use all relevant tools and equipment within safety guidelines as necessary for the completion of works.
To be efficient, polite of smart appearance and diligent in the discharge of the duties required, including the wearing of the correct company uniform.
To conduct the operation of the contract in a pro-active manner so as to minimise difficulties with the building environmental systems.
To prepare the area ready for decoration including the moving of heavy equipment i.e. fridges, filing cabinets, tables etc. Major Recruitment is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to permanent vacancies and as an Employment Business in relation to temporary or contract vacancies, as defined under the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003.
