Location: Hull and surrounding areas, with occasional UK travel
Salary: £16.40 per hour
Hours: Guaranteed 39 hours per week
Overtime: Time and a half, with double time for weekend working

Due to continued work and growth, we are looking for a reliable and experienced Painter & Decorator to join our established team.
The role
This is a varied position where no two projects are necessarily the same. You will work across Hull and the surrounding areas on a range of high-quality painting and decorating projects, including domestic, commercial and industrial work.
We also undertake projects nationally, so there will occasionally be a requirement to work away from home. Where overnight stays are required, accommodation will be provided.
Typical duties will include:
* Preparing surfaces ready for painting and decorating
* Carrying out high-quality internal and external painting
* Applying a range of finishes to the required standard
* Working across domestic, commercial and industrial environments
* Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
* Maintaining a clean and professional working environment
* Working effectively as part of an experienced team
* Travelling to sites when required
The ideal candidate
We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their trade and wants to become part of a long-established business.
You will need:
* Previous professional painting and decorating experience
* A valid CSCS Card
* A full UK driving licence
* A good standard of workmanship and attention to detail
* Reliability and excellent timekeeping
* A professional approach when working on customers’ premises
* Flexibility to occasionally travel and work away from home
* A genuine interest in painting and decorating and producing quality work
