Painter Decorator

£190 per day (including holiday pay)

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our construction client for an experienced Painter Decorator to join their team in Chelmsford. This is an immediate start opportunity offering full-time hours, ideal for someone with a strong background in painting and decorating who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes on construction projects.

If you have worked as a Painter, Decorator, Painting Operative, Finishing Operative, Property Maintenance Painter or have experience within construction finishing, refurbishment or maintenance, we would like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• 
  

  Carry out interior and exterior painting and decorating work

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare surfaces including filling, sanding and priming

  
  


• 
  

  Apply paint, stain and other finishes to a high standard

  
  


• 
  

  Complete decorating work on new build and refurbishment projects

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area

  
  


• 
  

  Work independently and as part of a site team to meet project deadlines

  
  

What We're Looking For

• 
  

  Previous experience as a Painter Decorator or in a similar painting and decorating role

  
  


• 
  

  Good knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to produce high-quality workmanship

  
  


• 
  

  Reliable with a strong work ethic

  
  


• 
  

  Able to travel to Chelmsford for a 7:30 AM start, Monday to Friday

  
  


• 
  

  Available to start immediately

  
  

Who Might Suit This Role
