Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Palantir Foundry App Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Palantir Foundry's platform and be adept at developing applications and solutions that harness the power of big data analytics. As a Palantir Foundry App Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy innovative applications that drive business insights and operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Development:

Design, develop, and maintain applications within the Palantir Foundry platform.

Implement data-driven solutions and applications that support business needs and enhance decision-making processes.

Develop custom workflows, data pipelines, and integrations using Palantir Foundry’s tools and APIs.

Data Integration and Management:

Ingest, clean, transform, and manage large datasets from various sources to support application development.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the development lifecycle.

User Interface and Experience:

Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces and visualizations for applications using Palantir Foundry.

Ensure that applications are accessible and provide a seamless user experience.

Testing and Deployment:

Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.

Deploy applications in the Palantir Foundry environment and monitor their performance post-deployment.

Collaboration and Support:

Work closely with data scientists, engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Provide training, support, and documentation to end-users and team members.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Palantir Foundry and incorporate them into application development.

Continuously optimize and enhance existing applications based on user feedback and performance metrics.

Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in application development, with significant experience in Palantir Foundry.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Palantir Foundry, including data integration, transformation, and application development capabilities.

Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, and SQL.

Experience with big data technologies and tools such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.

Familiarity with web development frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with machine learning and AI techniques.

Knowledge of data governance and compliance best practices.

Certifications in Palantir Foundry or related technologies.

Working Conditions:
This position may require occasional travel to client sites.

Flexibility to work across different time zones and remote collaboration with global teams.
