THE ROLE As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you'll be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to manufacturer and industry standards while maintaining exceptional levels of quality and efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include: ·Repairing damaged vehicle body panels using recognised repair techniques. ·Replacing damaged panels and carrying out structural repairs where required. ·Realigning vehicle bodywork and chassis components to manufacturer specifications. ·Using specialist repair equipment and tools safely and effectively. ·Working closely with estimators, painters and the wider workshop team to ensure efficient vehicle turnaround. ·Carrying out repairs to the highest quality standards while meeting productivity targets. ·Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment. ·Following all health and safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
ABOUT YOU We're looking for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality repairs and enjoys working as part of a professional Bodyshop team.
You will ideally have: ·Previous experience as a Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Body Repair techniques. ·Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development. ·Strong knowledge of modern accident repair methods and body repair techniques. ·The ability to work efficiently without compromising on quality. ·Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering first-class workmanship. ·The ability to work independently as well as part of a busy workshop team. ·A full UK driving licence.
