Full-time Positon Monday - Friday, 44 hours per week ****** Monday to Friday only ******

Salary: £40,000 plus overtime - Salary negotiable based on experience and skill set

Start Date: Immediately

Role

We’re currently looking for a qualified and reliable Panel Beater to join our close-knit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicle panels to a high standard, preparing vehicles for painting, and ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out panel beating and body repairs on a wide range of vehicles (cars and vans)
• Strip and refit vehicle trim, panels, interior parts, and mechanical components as required
• Repair and/or replace panels using traditional and modern techniques
• Work with body filler and sanding to prepare surfaces for paint
• Weld replacement parts when necessary (MIG and spot welding) ensure accurate alignment of panels and body parts for proper fit and finish
• Work closely with the team to ensure jobs are completed on time and to customer satisfaction
• Follow detailed job sheets and adhere to manufacturer specifications
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Provide occasional assistance to colleagues across the workshop when needed (e.g. preparing, masking)
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance before handing vehicles over for painting or final delivery

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a panel beater in a body shop or accident repair setting
• Strong understanding of vehicle body repair processes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Good attention to detail and a pride in producing high-quality work
