THE ROLE As an Experienced Multi-Skilled Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing accident-damaged vehicles to manufacturer and industry-leading standards. Working as part of a highly skilled bodyshop team, you'll carry out structural and cosmetic repairs while ensuring every vehicle is returned to customers in exceptional condition.
Key Responsibilities ·Carry out high-quality panel repairs, replacements, and realignment on a wide range of vehicles. ·Complete structural and cosmetic accident damage repairs using manufacturer-approved repair methods. ·Perform welding, bonding, dent removal, panel reshaping, filling, and vehicle reconstruction. ·Carry out chassis and frame alignment where required. ·Work closely with MET Technicians, Paint Technicians, and Workshop Controllers to ensure efficient vehicle throughput. ·Inspect completed repairs to ensure they meet manufacturer specifications and bodyshop quality standards. ·Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment while following all Health & Safety procedures. ·Complete repairs within agreed production times whilst maintaining exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.
ABOUT YOU We're looking for an experienced, quality-focused Multi-Skilled Panel Beater who takes pride in delivering first-class workmanship and consistently produces repairs to the highest standards.
You will ideally have: ·Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Panel Beater, Panel Technician, or Vehicle Panel Beater within a busy automotive accident repair centre. ·ATA Accreditation, IMI, NVQ, VCQ, or equivalent qualification (advantageous but not essential for experienced candidates). ·Strong knowledge of modern vehicle repair techniques, structural repairs, and manufacturer repair methods. ·Experience with welding, bonding, chassis alignment, panel replacement, dent removal, and cosmetic repairs. ·Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced production environment while consistently achieving quality standards. ·Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to first-time quality repairs. ·Strong team player with a positive, professional attitude and excellent time management skills. ·Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
