An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join a friendly and cooperative Private Client team, contributing to a varied caseload involving areas such as Estate Planning, Trusts, Estate Administration, and Powers of Attorney.

This position is ideal for those at the start of their legal journey or individuals seeking to enhance their current expertise, offering strong potential for advancement.

Your responsibilities:

• Providing support to senior legal professionals on matters concerning Estate Planning, Trust setup and administration, Probate issues, and Legal Powers of Attorney.
• Managing office tasks with sensitivity, efficiency, and attention to detail.
• Expanding your understanding of legal practices while gradually assuming greater responsibility within the department.

Candidate profile:

• A detail-oriented, motivated, and empathetic team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Previous exposure to a legal workplace is beneficial, though not essential — eagerness to develop and learn is the priority.
• An individual with strong multitasking skills and the ability to prioritise duties effectively.

Career Growth:
There is a strong internal progression ethos — the successful applicant will be supported to move towards handling independent cases and may be offered pathways to Solicitor qualifications or CILEX accreditation, depending on their performance and tenure.
