Conveyancing Paralegal

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Search Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected Law Firm in Aberdeen to recruit a Conveyancing Paralegal on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join a busy and successful Property team, managing their own caseload of residential conveyancing transactions while delivering exceptional client service throughout the property purchase and sale process.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from inception through to completion
Drafting and reviewing conveyancing documentation including dispositions, standard securities and registration forms
Conducting title examinations and property searches
Preparing completion statements and handling settlement transactions
Liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors, estate agents and other third parties throughout transactions
Registering title deeds with Registers of Scotland
Ensuring all files are maintained accurately and in line with regulatory requirements
Providing updates and legal guidance to clients throughout the conveyancing process
Supporting solicitors within the department as required

Skills & Experience Required:

Previous experience working as a Conveyancing Paralegal within a Scottish legal firm
Strong knowledge of Scottish residential conveyancing procedures and legislation
Ability to independently manage a busy caseload
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and client relationship management skills
Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office and case management systems
Highly motivated with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
