About the Role

We are recruiting a Paralegal to join an established legal team in Hertford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 12 months' experience working within a legal environment who is looking to develop their career within property litigation.

Working alongside experienced solicitors, you will assist with a varied caseload involving property disputes, service charge and ground rent arrears, possession proceedings and landlord and tenant matters.

What You'll Do

*

Assist solicitors with managing and progressing property litigation cases.

*

Prepare legal documents, court forms, correspondence and case bundles.

*

Support service charge and ground rent recovery, possession and enforcement proceedings.

*

Assist with landlord and tenant matters, lease breaches and property disputes.

*

Liaise with clients, solicitors, courts and other third parties.

*

Maintain accurate case records and ensure deadlines and procedures are met.

What We're Looking For

*

At least 12 months' experience working in a legal role, ideally within a law firm or legal department.

*

Previous experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Litigation Assistant or Legal Administrator.

*

Good written and verbal communication skills.

*

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

*

The ability to manage a busy workload and work to deadlines.

*

A genuine interest in developing a career within property litigation.
