Paralegal

Our well established client is seeking an Immigration Paralegal or NQ Solicitor to provide legal services to clients seeking immigration advice in both personal and business immigration matters.

You will be responsible for various administrative duties including taking calls from enquirers, dealing with case work queries, drafting legal documents, making online applications, preparing and submitting supporting documents to UKVI, and organising case files.

• Draft and review legal documents
• Communicate with clients regarding case status and requests for additional information
• Prepare and submit visa applications with the appropriate government agencies
• Research and review immigration laws and regulations
• Organise case files and maintain the firm's case management system
• Attend client meetings, take instructions and assist with client intake

The ideal candidate will have

• 2 years’ experience working in immigration law either as a Paralegal or NQ, ideally with experience in both personal and business immigration related matters
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritise deadlines
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software such as LexisNexis or Westlaw
• Have a passion for immigration law
• Willing to be office based

Hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday - Thursday, 1 hour for lunch 9:00am to 5:00pm Friday, 1 hour for lunch (37 hrs)
