Conveyancing Paralegal

Salary: £24,000-£27,000 per annum, depending on experience

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join a busy and established legal team in Barnsley.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous residential conveyancing experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

The Role

You will provide support throughout the conveyancing process, assisting with a varied caseload and ensuring matters progress efficiently and accurately.

Key responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the day-to-day management of residential conveyancing files.

Supporting fee earners throughout transactions from instruction through to completion.

Preparing and reviewing legal documentation.

Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other third parties.

Carrying out property searches and reviewing relevant documentation.

Assisting with enquiries and responding to client and third-party queries.

Preparing files for exchange and completion.

Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring key dates and deadlines are met.

Providing general legal and administrative support to the wider conveyancing team.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous experience within Residential Conveyancing.

Experience as a Paralegal, Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant or similar.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Confident communication and client care skills.

The ability to manage a busy workload and work to deadlines.

A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
