Paralegal - Employment

Our client, a very reputable firm are looking to appoint a Employment Paralegal for their growing business based in Stockport. You will support a respondent focused caseload across both contentious & non-contentious matters. You will also gain exposure to high quality work & have the ability to build long term relationships.

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

A minimum of 12 months’ experience in employment law
Experience & Knowledge of employment law
Experience working as a Paralegal within the legal sector
Knowledge of MS Office & Internal Systems
Excellent communication skills – both written & verbal
Strong organisational skills
High attention to detail
Within this position, you’ll also be:

Conducting of matters on behalf of clients accurately and reliably in line with procedures and policies (SRA Code of Conduct)
Supporting fee earners with matters, including preparing of case assessments, drafting documents and forms & liaising with clients & Tribunals
Attending Tribunal hearings to provide support & take notes
Carrying out legal research to assist ongoing matters
Preparing hearing & disclosure bundles, organising documents and assembling files under supervision
Working collaboratively with team members to deliver a seamless service to clients
Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Working Hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with 1 hours’ lunch
